Leads & Deals

Leads

Leads represent unqualified prospects — the first stage of your sales pipeline. Access the leads section from the sidebar navigation.

List View

The default leads view shows a paginated table with columns for lead title, contact person, organisation, value, status, and owner. Use the search bar to find leads by title, ID, or associated contact names.

Filtering: Filter leads by owner or labels using the filter controls above the table.

Board View

Click the board toggle to switch to a Kanban-style view. Leads are displayed as cards grouped by pipeline stage. This view gives a visual overview of where each lead sits in your qualification process.

Creating a Lead

Click the Create button to add a new lead. The form includes:

  • Title — A descriptive name for the lead.
  • Contact — Search and select an existing person or create a new one inline using the autocomplete field.
  • Organisation — Search and select an existing organisation.
  • Value & Currency — Estimated monetary value of the lead.
  • Source — Where the lead originated.
  • Labels — Tag the lead with colour-coded labels.
  • Custom Fields — Any configured custom fields for leads.

Converting a Lead to a Deal

Once a lead is qualified, click the Convert to Deal action on the lead detail page. This creates a new deal pre-populated with the lead's information and marks the lead as converted with a timestamp.

Deals

Deals represent qualified sales opportunities being actively worked through your pipeline.

List View

The deals list view shows title, contact, organisation, value, pipeline stage, and status. Deals support the same search and filter capabilities as leads.

Board View

The deal board view groups deals by pipeline stage, providing a visual sales pipeline. Each card shows the deal title, value, and associated contact.

Deal Actions

From a deal's detail page, you can:

  • Won — Mark a deal as won when the sale is closed successfully.
  • Lost — Mark a deal as lost when the opportunity is no longer viable.
  • Reopen — Reopen a previously won or lost deal.

Deal Products

Deals support line items via the deal products system. You can add multiple products to a deal with:

  • Product — Select from your product catalogue using autocomplete.
  • Quantity — Number of units.
  • Price — Unit price (can differ from the catalogue price).
  • Tax Rate — Applicable tax rate.

Product lines calculate subtotals and totals automatically.
